Security and Infrastructure

Control who can access information and how changes are reviewed. Consider hosting and backups within the scope of your chosen deployment.

How does it work for your business?

  • Roles and screen permissions: administrators manage accounts, roles and access to screens.
  • Record history: review logs by operation, user and date range; supported updates show previous and new field values.
  • Hosting and backups: data location, operational responsibilities, backup frequency, retention and recovery steps are agreed within the deployment proposal.

Clear responsibilities, from access to operation.

Backups and recovery

Renium Backup documentation covers SQL Server, file and folder backups, scheduled tasks and local/network or cloud destinations. These capabilities do not imply the same backup policy for every Octo installation. Frequency, retention and recovery testing are defined in the deployment plan.

Scope of AI use

AI access depends on user permissions and the AI service configured for the installation. Review the data scope and provider conditions during the technical assessment. Data location, retention and model training terms are not presented as a universal guarantee across deployments.
